I can't believe they are not releasing the remaster on iOS which is another good reason to use Metal. This is ridiculous. Blizzard is ridiculous and Activision is evil and they suck and now my life does too and I hate everything....

Except I do like Wammer Quest a real lot but then those guys are cool and support iOS and PS4 which is all that even matters.

Maybe just me, but I thought you meant the Remastered edition was available! This is "just" the 1.18 patch for the original Starcraft (now free.)

The big day has arrived! I was wondering what time of day it would release so I did a search for that and figured I'd save someone else the trouble:

"release on Monday, August 14, at 11:00am Pacific / 2:00pm Eastern."

I was a little surprised they didn't add it to the Blizzard app beforehand to market it but then again, I don't suppose this needed much in the way of marketing once it was announced anyway. I don't know this but I imagine when it becomes available we'll see it magically appear in an update to the Blizzard app.
