i wasnt have any hope that this game was coming to mac os soon ( i thought maybe a long time period 2-4 years like the total war series being ported to mac os ) , have too much game and too few times anyway
but then i received the email about a game on wishlist went go sale and i saw warhammer total war then i just click in and saw it is supported Linux by Feral ???!! i feel a glimpse of hope shed upon me while i saw FERAL interactive 's name ! and scrolling down there i see

Oh, we knew about this. We discussed this in the "Feral's Upcoming Projects" thread.
And yes, it used Metal.
Which is a problem.
Since Metal is currently very problematic (among others there are severe driver bugs), Feral couldn't release the Mac version of TW: Warhammer together with the Linux version back in November, but had to indefinitely delay it – along with the Mac versions of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, DiRT Rally, and Hitman.
And yes, it used Metal.
Which is a problem.

All Feral games recently released on SteamOS/Linux have the same »waiting for Metal« badge. I'm afraid not much have changed regarding Metal, at least not in the latest macOS point release. ��

I would not recommend buying any Mac game on Steam while it's development is held up by issues with Metal on macOS for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is wanting to be sure Feral gets paid vs the Windows version publisher, etc.
The reason games held up like this don't get a lot of discussion is because there is nothing to discuss until issues preventing a release of this and other affected titles are resolved.
Meantime, patience is a virtue as the old saying goes.

Safest bet is to buy directly from the Feral store, even when a game haven't been released on Mac yet. They get your money as well for the Linux version. :-)
