I bought a game! One of those "Never heard of it before, but sounds cool and the reviews aren't too bad"-buys.

Is The Darkness coop only or may I play a solo game?

I dont know, actually never heard of the game (didnt know we carried it haha!). I cant tell from the descriptions and reviews. I also dont know about the GPU needs, it was setup showing 'any', so who the hell knows.

From what I know (I haven't played it myself since it's a Cider "port"), it's primarily a solo game with a separate co-op campaign.

Oh, The Darkness 2? Yeah, it is a solo campaign but then there are also some coop missions which actually you can solo too. I did those solo because I am uber and able to do such amazing things. So, YMMV but for me it was fun. :w00t:

The port was actually alright in my experience. I didn't run into any issues with it except I needed to get used to the partial controller support a bit. It wasn't bad though. I always bitch about anything that puts me off at all and then I am fine after a little attitude adjustment. It's a fun game.

Thanks, MGS just bumped the price back up while I was dawdling so I'll wait for the next sale.

I think the game was on sale in virtually every MGS and Steam sale in the last few years, so you should have ample opportunity to buy it. ;)

What a mug.  I see his problem though,  one should never lead with their chin.  Surprised they both weren't knocked out.
