Has anyone tried upgrading their MacBook Air (2015 model specifically) internal SSD to a higher capacity drive?  I was looking at a couple of drives that are available from Other World Computing that would upgrade my current 128 Gb.

We have upgraded Air's at work with both OWC and Transcend drives with no issue.

The only "issue" with the OWC drives is the read/write speeds aren't nearly as good as the Apple drive, but they are still SSD speed and you probably will never notice the difference in real world use.

Actually the speeds are very good (1500 MB/s read and write). Definitely go with the OWC upgrade. The older ones they used to sell were more close to SATA SSD speed
