LDW Software's Fish Tycoon is now available at Macgametore.com as a digital download for $19.95. A free demo is available on the web site.

Fish Tycoon is a fish breeding sim game where you breed and care for exotic fish in a true real-time virtual aquarium.

The object of this tycoon game is to discover the 7 MAGIC FISH of ISOLA and solve the genetic puzzle. You start with a small selection of fish, some money and a tank. You must breed your fish, care for them, help them grow, and cure them if they get sick. Along the way you can buy supplies, medicine and special chemicals; you can research technologies or invest in advertisement. All of this will be financed by selling exotic hybrids in your shop.

The game runs in TRUE REAL-TIME, so that if your computer is turned off or you exit the game, hours later small fish will have grown larger and new surprises await you.

This game is really fun to play.

Your kids will love it and even for adults it's fun playing with this game.

Thanks to the developers for bringing this to the Mac.

Give it a try and if you like it , buy it. It's cheap for what you get , believe me.

It's version 1.0 , but this game is really good tested on a great variety of hardware and graphic-cards.

So you can install it without any risk!

It runs on almost every Mac with OS X installed on it.

If you have any problems or questions , go to the developers site. There is a forum and people are very friendly and will help you with all your questions or problems.

How Not To Do Marketing 101?  Come on, now, at least build up some postcount elsewhere on the forums so you can pretend to have posted that just because you liked the game....

Just for your info , i was part of the beta team.
And this game is a nice game , great for kids ...
It's not a high tech "first person shooter" like Doom3 or Quake4 but some people like this sort of games!
There is a demo so if you like it , buy it. If you do not like it , too bad.
It's cheap , being part of the beta team i know it was hard work bringing this to the Mac!
You should be happy company's are still developing games for OS X.
BTW:this is a game site ? Or am i wrong here ? Or is this a Doom , Quake or other site ?
I believe my info here was/is relevant.

I think people were afraid that you were going to turn out to be another in the continuous stream of spammers that we get on the forums.  It was an honest mistake of the part of decent people.  Please don't take it personally, you did return to make it clear that you are one of us, so I think the unkind remarks are in the past now.  I hope people's skeptical reaction to your first post did not sour you on us.  We are actually a fairly decent group of people once we get our heads out of our asses.

I've said as much myself, actually.  :)  Sorry.  Your first post did seem like shilling, and I suspect there might be a bit of a language/cultural barrier if I'm not mistaken.  Us heres folks tends to be a mite cynical at times....

Hi there.

Just purchased this game last night.  It runs on my iMac G4 just fine, but it doesn't run on the MacBook Pro.  It crashes immediately after you start it.  Just thought people should be aware of that.

Other than that, I think I'm hooked.  Now, if only I can afford to research environments.

I know it was tested on Intel-Mac's!
But maybe there are still some bugs with this first release.
I will send your bug to the developers so they can take this bug in for a next release.
Kind regards,
dokter_mac

BTW:This game is crashing under Rosetta on your MacBook Pro?
