But seriously, when in the history of mankind has a thread on IMG not been derailed at some point?
Truer words never spoken. I don't even know whats going on anymore.

I'm the worst offender of all.  The only way I get into trouble it seems is with my own big mouth.  I want to apologize to ipickert55 and Janichsan and especially to Matt Diamond who I know this has driven crazy in the past.  I promise hereon after to never derail a thread nor to contribute to a thread that has been derailed.  My apologies again to all this has annoyed.  It stops now.

Weird mail server problem

28 February 2018 - 02:24 PM

This problem resolved itself without intervention but I wanted to run it by you bit heads to see what you think about it.

My wife tried to access her online email on her late model MacBook Pro using a bookmark both in Safari and Firefox yet each time failed with a "Server not found" error.  So far I would say "Internet congestion", but it gets strange.

The iPad and the laptop share the same router.  She could access the mail website via her iPad and her iPhone 6 SE.  She could send herself an email using her iPad and then read it on her iPad.  But still she could not connect to the mail websites on the MacBook Pro.

I don't understand how that could happen unless the iPad was syncing with the iPhone and had the iPhone retrieve the information and transfer it back to the iPad.  Is that possible?  If not what was going on?

Fallout 4

22 December 2017 - 11:16 AM

OK, I've gone and got myself addicted again, I can't set Fallout 4 down.  It becomes 3 hours after my bedtime and I'm still, "just this one more thing, then I'll knock off..."  Can't wait to pick it up again the next day ASAP.  I've joined the Minutemen and now I'm nation building from the ground up.  I just got to the point where I can assign a settler to start a supply line to my main workshop which really opens up the game as far as my settlers are concerned.  Those pathetic wretches are going to have it pretty good from now on.

I had my T-45b power armor stolen!  I had no idea that could happen!  Some fraking NPC walked off with it without a power core, but I found a frame early on in the game and had the common sense to save it.  Since then I've killed a couple of guys in power armor and swiped the armor off the frames for a combined full set, so now I have a frame with mixed T-51a and Raider armor.  Still works great, but I wish I had my own original armor back.  These days I either keep the power armor in the vault when I don't need it, or do a hard save every time I step out of it.  I wonder what else I'm unwittingly leaving my self open to.

Anyway, if you like a shooter RPG with lots of depth, detail and history, this is your game.  Get it on sale this Christmas!  Battle Cat recommended.

Markek, regarding your "unfortunate banning incident", I've reported the guilty moderator to Robot Santa so he will be spending this Christmas in an undisclosed underground bunker.

[EDIT: I've split out these posts from another thread and put them here.  This is age inappropriate for the original poster as there is a risk his kid may see it if he comes back.]
