When are we going to find out the real release dates?

When the ports are almost ready?

You can give a preliminary date early... but they're never right. The time where a "final" release date can be given without too much risk of it getting delayed would probably be when there's an FC version... but if that's not approved and there's some major bug found that has to be tweaked out, you break those as well... so the really secure time would be when you have a Gold Master.

There's a reason companies like Bungie and Blizzard usually takes the "when it's done" approach for release dates... and when trying to be more specific, they use years or 6-months periods.
You shouldn't ask yourself such worthless questions. Aim higher. Try this: why am I here? Why do I exist, and what is my purpose in this universe?

(Answers: 'Cause you are. 'Cause you do. 'Cause I got a shotgun, and you ain't got one.)

Thanks for the answer, Johan.

Basically until we have a definite 100% release date we don't want to announce an exact date, this is due to the possible problems that can occur at any point in development. As such it is safer to announce the title and then give firmer details on the shipping dates as and when we can confirm them.

They are both progressing along at the moment rest assured we want to get them finished as much as you want to play them.  :)

Cheers,

Edwin

Sorry to sound like a broken record but I can only say what I always say at this point, the spec will be
close to the PC spec but we don't release any Mac specs until we are 100% (or at least 99% ;)) sure.

I think it is better so say nothing until you can confirm the specs than have estimated specs that might change a few times before release.

It will of course run very nicely on the new intel machines in native mode :), PPC minimum specs are as I said undecided but will be around the PC originals.

Cheers,

Edwin

You can apply for a testing position by e-mailing the standard support email address,
support [at] feralinteractive [dot] com and request to join the beta test program.

I'd say you're quite wrong. We're extremely RPG starved on the Mac on the moment so there's nothing to move on to. And Fable TLC wasn't released until recently on the PC, met with really good reviews... so hell yeah bring it on!

Not that I'd say no to Oblivion... but Bethesda doesn't seem to like Mac :(
