Try to get all the collectibles (posters), that will take around 8 hours even with a guide. Granted, that's not very exciting...

I always like to explore every single corner of a game, so I did already find quite a lot of them by myself.

I actually just enjoyed driving round the open world in Mafia 2...

It's a real shame Mafia II doesn't have Free Ride, like the first Mafia game had. I've spent many hours just driving around in Free Ride mode in that game, just like I did in the the first Driver game.

Recently I started playing Mafia 3 of which I bought the Aspyr port a while back on MacOS but it refused to run on dual CPU machines (single socket Mac Pro models of the same age are fine) so have finally had to run it in Windows. Despite the mediocre reviews i fine it is also a fun world to explore. With all these open world titles it is the atmosphere with music and surroundings that really make them.

I'm still not sure whether I should buy this game or not. There are so many people saying it's a terrible game and by far the worst in the series, while others think the game's still enjoyable.

The Catalina compatible version of CrossOver is available.

I bought a copy to reward them, as planned. (Not that I'm on Catalina yet.)

Edit: should have mentioned, to celebrate they are taking 40% offright now, except for the lifetime license.

I haven't used this in a billion years. Would this intercept a 32-bit macOS app and run it in a wrapper? Would I have to run a MojaveVM from within Catalina?

No, itís a WINE implementation. The new version allows you to run 32-bit windows programs in a 64-bit process, making it Catalina compatible.

I'm not on Catalina yet but it seems this is rather like the PowerPC to Intel transition in that you will need to source PC versions of your old 32-bit games to run in Wine or a Windows VM if you want to run them inside Catalina.

Most of the Mac versions are now abandoned and won't be patched and although you can run older MacOS versions in a VM on Catalina the 3D Graphics acceleration isn't available (making them only useful for other applications).

'Total War: Empire' is now available in Version 1.5.
That means 64-bit and Metal support, but just like 'Napoleon' it's now only available on macOS 10.15 Catalina.

Any idea why Doom3/Quake4 that is currently on macgamestore lists 10.13+ als not compatible?
I searched for the later versions that have been patched for vsync and now I found them and they
now have another compatibility issue...wtf.

Any more informations about that?
