Not a huge update, but a nice update for quite a few Macs today:
  • 13" MBP now has quad core in all configurations. Touch bar, touch ID, and T2 chip also added to base config.
  • Macbook Air now has true tone display and price dropped to $1100
  • 12" Macbook discontinued (too close to the MBA I guess)
  • Keyboards on new 13" MBP and MBA upgraded to the gen3 gen3.5 (thanks for the clarification Thain) butterfly switches, which means more durability hopefully
  • 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB SSD upgrades are less expensive now on pretty much all Mac desktops (Mac Mini, iMac, iMac Pro, Mac Pro)

2015 13" rMBP: i5 5257U @ 2.7 GHz || Intel Iris 6100 || 8 GB LPDDR3 1866 || 256 GB SSD || macOS High Sierra
Gaming Build: i5 8400 || Vega 56 || 16 GB DDR4 || 960 Evo NVMe || Win10 Pro
Other: 30TB Plex Server || Xbox One X || PS4 Pro || iPhone X

That's likely. Sad though, because it was really nice with a fan-less laptop! I really like mine (Except for the keyboard, picking it up after its 3. repair tomorrow). Only but is that I would have liked a slightly faster CPU.

Generation 3.5. It has the new material underneath the keys, which the 2018 MBA didn't have. :)

I did like the 12" Macbook (Wife has the 2017 model) but I'm guessing it just didn't sell super well compared to their other laptops.

The Air is using the same class of chip, but it having a cooling fan allows it to actually have much higher performance then the 12" Macbook since it can run a full turbo for much longer.
