"Inside" has a Mac version?!?
28 July 2020 - 02:23 PM
You might know "Limbo", that stylish black and white platformer where you control a lone child through some brutal, creepy level, which has been available for the Mac for several years already.
You might also have heard of its successor "Inside", a stylish mostly gray-scale platformer where you control a lone child through some brutal, creepy level, which has been released on pretty much every platform a few years ago. Except for the Mac.
Until recently, as it seems. The game is available on the Mac App Store.

Remember MicroProse?
05 May 2020 - 01:18 PM
They are officially back, with a heavy focus on military strategy/simulation games. Apparently, even original MicroProse founder Bill Stealy is on board.
One of the announced games is Sea Power, from the designer of Cold Water, which was touted as spiritual successor to Red Storm Rising – one of 1980's MicroProse's best games. So it all comes back…

Cosmic Frontier Override (Escape Velocity Override)
24 April 2020 - 11:13 AM
The original scenario designer for EV: Override pitched a remake of the game on Kickstarter as Cosmic Frontier: Override. (The name change was necessary because Matt Burch, who holds the copyright, is not on board – he is supportive of the project, though.)
The game will be moddable and the game engine will be released as open source after release.
