Some years ago, there was a computer game, Ballroom Solitaire. On the Web site The Mac Observer, there is an article from November 1999, "And All She Wants To Do Is Dance (And Play Cards)", which talks about the game. This article can be viewed at https://www.macobser...msolitaire.html as of now. In the article, the game is identified as BALLROOM Solitaire and there is mention of a company, Cabaret Software, Inc. From what it appears, the Web site for Cabaret Software that is linked to in The Mac Observer article is no longer functional.

Does anyone know of any written works (like magazine issues) that have information about the Ballroom Solitaire game? Details such as the publication name and date would be useful. Thanks.

Ooh, a quest!

Using the Internet Archive's Wayback machine at web.archive.org:
They took snapshots of www.cabaret.org website for some years. Looking at September 2000, their news page on 11/15/1999 announces that BALLROOM Solitaire was released.

The news page also mentions a dedicated website for the game: cabaretsolitaire.com. Wayback's last download of that website was September 2004

• There are some screenshots, system requirements, and even a demo. Unfortunately the demo was NOT archived by Wayback Machine. I searched a few places and didn't find either the Mac or Windows demo.

I was hoping their News page would point to articles about the game, since that's what you asked for, but no luck.
