For those not on Feral's email list, news of Feral's minimum and recommended system requirements for Mac and Linux on the already acclaimed XCOM® 2. Put your awesomesauce away because I'm sure Firaxis and Feral have already cooked up something perfectly tasty in this! The cheese in this post already hurts, I'm sure you want the link already.

I'll wait for it to go on sale.

Same here. And whenever the expansion is released. Firaxis games are always better with their expansions.

I hope it works with NVIDIA's Web Drivers, unlike Alien: Isolation

Alien Isolation started up fine here for me with the Nvidia web driver installed and active. I did not spend any time playing the game though. I just installed it and a few others from Feral and Aspyr and then messed with them for a while to make sure they got paid for them as I don't have time for them yet. So maybe that is why I didn't see any issues. I did that where I'd gotten them on Steam during winter sales.

It will crash when you start a game. NVidia is aware of the issue, but it's been a few months and still no patch.

Oh, okay. Thanks. That's good to know. At least Nvidia made it a very simple process to switch which driver you are using when the need arises.

Pondering getting this, but my late-2012 iMac is under spec. Maybe I can try that Steam 24-hour refund thing...
