No, you get it with the monthly subscription too, and you get the enhanced edition too (but it's only for Windows at the moment)

Okay, good to know but still the base game. I can get the base game on Epic for $6 with the coupon. :)

Thanks, I saw the offer but not worth it. As you say it's only the base game and only with one year subscription. So it's $127.32 for the standard game on Humble vs. $12 for Gold Edition on Epic. I don't need other games. :)

Humble Monthly is not a subscription for access. You own the games forever. You pay the $12, get your games, and then cancel (or pause) if you’re not interested in the next month.

Yes, I know but I thought you have to buy a premium one-year subscription to get Metro. Anyway for me it's cheaper on Epic. :)

Epic has no FPS counter AFAIK but you could always add it as a non-Steam game.

I added Borderlands 1 from Macgamestore to my Steam Library and the overlay and fps counter surprisingly works. Can anyone confirm that for Epic Games too? :)

Update: I tested Sunless Sea and The Long Dark on Epic. I let the Epic launcher run in the background and then started the games in Steam. It worked for Sunless Sea and the fps counter seemed to work but I couldn't start The Long Dark via Steam. The game quit after I got the dialog box about allowing incoming data. TLD works fine via Epic Launcher alone. Trying to launch Epic games via Steam feels like a mixed bag probably because of DRM so it would be interesting to see how it works with Metro Exodus. Anyone here who has it on Epic and can test?

It feels like the game is quite heavy on the cpu side, and some effects like smoke get it to drop some frames. It's funny that the game usually runs perfectly, then there is this small can with a fire and bit of smoke and everything slow down.

Yes, MrMacRight showed the fire effect in his review. The frame rate dropped from 60 to 45 all of a sudden.

What? On my M1-MacMini ME performs bad, very bad. It seems like it's only about 10-12fps. What is wrong?
ShadowOfTheTombRaider performs very well on the same machine.

The frame rates in my previous post are for Intel iMac 27" Radeon 5500 XT. You can see it in this video. On MBP 13" M1 8GB RAM he gets around 40 fps at 1080p medium. Which settings and resolution do you use? 10-12 fps sounds strange.

Did you make sure to kill settings like SSAO and shadow resolution that usually bog down GPUs?

Not possible. Only a view settings of the gfx. There is definitely something wrong.

Even the pc version has few graphics options. The Mac version has even less options like, no Tessellation, Hairworks (Nvidia) or shading rate. However there is a config file you can manipulate as shown in the MrMacRight video above. Maybe there you can find SSAO and such settings, but it seems like something else is wrong in your case.
