In Topic: What games are people playing these days!?

I've played all four Hero of the Kingdom games, they're quite enjoyable casual games. #3 is the weakest.

As usual, it said the game was added to my library, but I never got anything. Ubisofts store is so popsnizzlety. I never get their account verification emails either.

I'm not seeing your game addition problem, but I did have for years the account verification issue: does your email address domain use a somewhat "exotic" TLD, that is something not limited to 2 or 3 characters like .com, .net, .dk, etc.? If you do, that can be the root cause. I used .name at a time, and .click now. TBH it's a prevalent issue at many companies, both small and large, even very large: Cisco and Microsoft for instance. Gaming related, Origin (EA) has (or had when I created my account) too. For Ubisoft I switched to a .com TLD, and boom I received the validation emails. Funnily enough, I always received marketing emails. I hate those back end or front end email address format checks which haven't been updated for 15 years and still think 3 characters in the TLD is the maximum. :wall:

Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for free at Epic? How can you say no? Okay okay, Windows only, but still! Borderlands 2 is one of my most played games... Almost the best shooter in existence!

Borderlands 2's Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC is now free for a month on Epic. You need to have the base game to claim it.

Existing versions of Fortnite still run for users, right? What if players discover that they like playing the game more WITHOUT forced updates, DLC, and opponents who can afford the best loot?

It's a (mostly) MP only game. Usually with these games, you can't connect to servers without having the latest client version.

In Topic: Microsoft Won’t Let You Uninstall Its New Edge Browser

Well, the loophole must be their browser market share. Edge is trailing (around 7%), Google Chrome is the new IE at 69 %, so for now Microsoft can't be accused of holding a browser monopoly.
