Over at PlayMyth, a new community website, WW2 Gaming has launched dedicated to World War II games and players. In conjuction with the site's launch, a Myth II: Soulblighter tournament has been announced using the popular WWII: Recon total conversion mod.

The WW2: Champions Cup tournament is a multi-team single elminiation tournament using the "Patrol" mapset in WWII: Recon. Registration has already begun and will close on July 31, 2006. Teams are required to have at least 2 players and a maximum of 4 players on their rosters. Furthermore, the first place and runner-up finishers will receive Amazon gift certificates.
