Any one have experience with Ancient Space. I like that list of voice actors.

I was actually eyeballing it. The ratings and one review on MGS are of no help. Clearly one guy didnt read the specs, and the other 1 rating is someone who hates steam (not the game). Yes, there are actually users who simply mark every new steam-only game a 1 because they hate steam.

Oddly though, out of all the sales for it behind the scenes... there are only 4 ratings. I guess people are too busy playing it, than coming back to give it a rating? LOL.

Ancient Space got pretty mediocre reviews. The screenshots are misleading, it's really faux-3D. Just play Homeworld instead.

That is a cool cast, though. John Billingsley was the best part of Enterprise.

Performance is bit disappointing (6970M, 1600x900, high textures). You can set only resolution, v-sync a texture quality. There are a lot of costly particle effects to make space look more "cool" but you can't turn them off :-(

I bought it, I just haven't had a chance to install and play it yet. Maybe sometime in 2025 :o
