You are stuck between a rock (the metal version of tomb raider requires 10.14) and a hard place (older OpenGL games often can't get good performance with a egpu).

Nice. I was already wondering when this game would be released as Feral said to release the game in 2019 which is coming to an end. Good to see they did in fact make the deadline.

They probably waited for the last episode to be released, what happened only fairly recently.

That makes complete sense. I had no idea the last episode was released only two weeks ago. I just assumed it'd already been released half a year ago. Releasing the full game only two weeks after the release of the last episode on Windows is in fact a very quick release, while I've always thought they were taking all the time in the world to port this game. Well, then I should take back every single word I've said. Good job, Feral.

'Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition' is now available on the Mac App Store.

'Life Is Strange 2' is now out on Steam and the Feral Store, but not on the Mac App Store.

Wow, that's a surprise. I expected Life is Strange 2 to be released on the Mac App Store today and Shadow of the Tomb Raider maybe next month or so. I'm wondering why Shadow of the Tomb Raider was released today while Life is Strange 2 isn't available on the Mac App Store.

Well, instead of buying the Life is Strange series, I'll be buying the Tomb Raider series then.

All three Tomb Raider games are now also available in one bundle called Tomb Raider Origin Trilogy. Last time I checked the Mac App Store only showed me the old bundle containing the first two games in the series, but now all three of them can be bought in one bundle. That's exactly what I've been waiting for.

If someone has a mac with HD3000 and the DVD-Release of Batman Ark-Asylum then it would be nice if he/she/it can test  if it's working with HD3000 (4GB/8GB Ram required).

When the game starts it writes „specifications.xml“ in „library/application-support/feral/Batman/cache/„specifications.xml

The game only starts the second time if I delete „specifications.xml“ before starting the game.

If I do not delete that file, I always get the information that my machine does not meet the requirements and quits.

Interestingly enough this xml-file contains informations about catalina, so the file gets info from the web?

I can’t figure out if it’s only an information in that xml that prevents the game from starting again.

Deleting the xml completly is currently the only option of getting Batman to start the second time.

Would be nice if someone can test this behavior.

Thx!

Btw. Feral is the best in business for the mac-gamers. They have the best on-/offline activation-service for their games.
I contacted the support for the problems that I have with my feral-games. They sent me steam-keys for the games
that are available. What a great support.

Shame on you aspyr(RAGE)/virtualprogramming(RIDDICK)!!

hopefully I can get in connection with "theBlade" in order to get cracks for RAGE and RIDDICK, otherwise I am not able
to play them, but I paid for the rights to play them, not to own them!

I have the MGS release and can test on the HD3000, if that'll work for you?

Feral sent me a Steam-Key for the game, thx for that.
The Steam-Version is 1.1 and runs pretty well on my macmini2011 with HD3000
and does not show this strange behavior that the dvd-release shows.
So I can confirm that it works with HD3000. Would be nice if someone
can prove that strange behavior of the DVD-Release.

Next I will test DeusEX HR, that works with my DVD-Release, but I will
test it with the Steam-Version that I got also a key for.

Would be nice to get more infos about technical stuff behind the games.
Most MacUsers should have shared graphics, so optimization towards
this would be nice.

The radar on their website is rather empty at the moment. I'm wondering what their next project is going to be. Some nice First Person Shooter would be nice.

Feral also told me they're looking into updating Mafia II to 64-bit. At the moment it's unsure if it's going to happen, but they're discussing it.

Just in case you werenít aware, LiS 2 has nothing to do with the previous games, so thereís no need to wait and play them all in one go for the story, if thatís what you were intending. (Before the Storm is also a prequel to LiS 1 made by different devs, but I still enjoyed it a good bit.)

Yes, I know, but somehow I just like to buy all of them at once and then playing one after the other.

Any chance of getting some METAL 1/2 patches for older OpenGL games for 10.13.6 ?

It's unbelievable how good "rise of the tombraider" looks and performs on a MacMIni 2011 with eGPU compared to tombraider 2013 on that same machine

incredible difference.
