It finally happened. No, I'm not referring to the MWSF Expo, but I am referring to the fact that I actually skipped 2 weeks here at my little factory of gaming eye candy. What? You didn't miss me? Hmmm. Well, I'll pick my ego up on the way out and try to carry on. ;D Seriously, it has been a hectic 2 weeks with preparing for the expo, traveling and the holidays I just couldn't seem to fit everything on my plate. But, I'm back and I promise to continue bringing you the quality desktops you've come to expect.

Well, this Macworld San Francisco was a lot of hype. Infact, it seemed to bring all the people out in masses to see what exactly the cryptic messages on the Apple web site were referring too. I heard everything from a PDA to the long-awaited G5s, but alas it was the announcement of the new iMac, which stole the show. Granted if you happened to stop by the airport book store and see the copy of Time featuring the new digital hub or pick up that Monday's USA Today then you knew all about the keynote before it happened. Luckily, I was able to remain in the dark until the actually event. I know that might not seem hard to believe. ;D

After the keynote, a fellow IMG staffer asked me what my expo desktop would be and I naturally had to do one featuring the new iMac. I'm sure most of you have seen the footage of the computer moving the flat screen around as if it were alive. Well, this reminded me of a certain short film by Pixar titled, "Luxo Jr". If you're not familiar with the film it features 2 desk lamps, a pappa lamp and a junior lamp. As this is becoming a new tradition I decided to use another film to inspire my expo desktop creation. So, this week's desktop is named after the short film that inspired it. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did making. Also, please note there are no "junior" versions of the iMac being offered. This was just artistic licensing. ;D

Custer's Corner was on another hiatus for the holidays. However, you can still check out my personal site's layout at Custer's Corner Layout.

Until then...
