In Battlefield 1942 from Aspyr Media, you will experience the heat of battle as you heroically storm the beaches of Normandy, drive a tank across the deserts of northern Africa, pilot a fighter plane during the Battle of Midway, command a battleship at Guadalcanal, or parachute and commandeer a jeep in operation Market Garden. It is the only first person, team-based action game that places you in the midst of a raging WWII battlefield with 35 "machines of war" under your control. You'll pick up the sidearm of your choice and get behind the wheel of a variety of vehicles, ships, and aircraft to go to war on land, sea, and air during some of the most famous and pivotal battles of the Second World War.

And maybe you'll find Private Ryan along the way. ;)

Battlefield 1942: Deluxe Edition from Aspyr Media came out in June, but today seemed a fitting day to do a wallpaper for it one day after Veteran's Day. In this week's feature I wanted to pay honor to all of men and lady of our great country who have served for our freedom. With the help of artwork provided by Aspyr Media and Electronic Arts I was able to create this desktop. I simply entitled it, "Fleet", and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. :)

Everyone be sure to keep those requests coming in and remember to thank those who fought for or are serving our country to give us our freedom.

Until then...
