A few weeks ago MacPlay announced that Icewind Dale went gold. In this upcoming release in the northernmost reaches of the FORGOTTEN REALMS lies the frozen and untamed region known as Icewind Dale. Journey deep into the Spine of the World mountains, a harsh and unforgiving territory teeming with fearsome and merciless beasts There you must confront an ancient evil that threatens to unleash an unspeakable horror upon the face of Faerun.

Icewind Dale is one of the largest computer dungeon adventures ever created for the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. Icewind Dale features improved graphics for advanced 3D effects that will leave you spellbound With a new interface and streamlined player control, there's nothing to stand between you and glory; nothing except for 70 types of new monsters and some of the most formidable combat you'll ever encounter.

Does this sound cool or what? ;)

Our resident Applemaster, Michael Phillips, has been requesting a desktop for Icewind Dale for a little while now. So, when an Applemaster makes a request. You listen. ;) Seriously, I was glad to be able to meet his need for this desktop. This week's selection was created from art supplied by MacPlay and is titled, "Faerun". I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. :)

Custer's Corner is back in the developing stage and I hope to have something new to share soon. You can still check out the layout for my personal site at Custer's Corner Layout.

Until then...
